Inspired by the cd spindle case trick and not wanting to ruin a perfectly good cd storage device,

I came up with this. I used a grocery store points card but any stiff plastic card will do. The plastic is much stiffer than the cd case and it works perfectly. The metal piece next to it is what I use to poke out the tabs and lift up the tricky hard drive side tab. 100 points to whoever can tell me what its original use is. I'm sure lots of other people have come up with their own.

Yup I used my disney cruise key card. Works great at first but eventually after you use it 10 times the plastic starts to bend.
Now I mostly use an eyeglass repair kit screw driver. Its the best period.

We use those to scoop powder onto a scale to get precise measurements....we call it a scoopula.

It's for shelling certian kinds of nuts. IE: pecans and walnuts.

I thought about the bending too so I made the "fingers" relatively short.
Don't know who "we" is and have no idea what a scoopula is but I'm guessing there aren't that many Koreans on this board.

Ack! I wouldn't put that in my ear. Maybe in Saw 4 they will use a contraption to poke somebodies jugular out with one of these objects....
