Anyone else have this problem?
When I load up the original version of Rainbow 6 Vegas, the DVD drive is insanely loud. However, when I use my backup, its extremely quiet.
Another thing I noticed, is I get some weird video artifacts when using the backup. Mainly green/yellow blobs popping up. I can recreate them on some levels, making me think its a bug not the GPU over heating.
I never noticed them with the original. I'm gonna test the original later.
I installed a Talismoon whipser fan... which i thought would cool better

the loudness is most likely the drive speed. im guessing you have the slow speed xtreme, and when you put an original in, it goes full speed.
as for the artifacts, no clue.
