I have a PSP that a customer brought me. All it does when you turn it on, is the screen seems to light up with the backlight but it stays black. It flickers like this a few times and then stops flickering all together. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. Could it be a hack gone bad that the customer tried to do himself and then didn't mention that to me or does this sould like it could be more of a hardware problem.

sounds like it may be bricked.

Well he said his buddy borrowed it and dropped it and now it's this way. Any ideas on what it could be.

Well I asked my buddy about it to make sure and he said it is bricked and it cant be fixed. So you got your self a really nice paperweight.
