I've been looking around for info here and firmware on other places can't seem to find anything so that i can change the booktype in dvdinfopro. Can this drive be used for burning backups at all? Any pointers?
WELL worth the money! No bad burns at all since i installed that drive.
and use imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com) and make sure you set the layer break like the tuts tell you to.

Missed that somehow, seems like my burned can't hold up so i'm gonna buy the Pioneer 111D with verbatrim DVD-R ofc
Oh and my Drive was the 163 not 162 :/
