When I start my soft modded xbox, I always end up with the Avalaunch menu. Is there a way to force a DVD movie or XBOX game to load first if it is present in the drive? In other words, I only ever want to go to the Avalaunch dashboard if there is no disc in the drive.

If you have a game in the tray at boot that game will load (cold boot) and the softmod will never kick in. Hence, no Avalaunch.
