Don't use PASV.... he's got the MXM FTP Server running.

Turned passive off:

150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.

I am pretty sure i know what the problem is, it occurs when both the host and client are behind an NAT firewall. If he opens port 20 on his firewall (yes 20 - it is the data port for ftp) then i can get it but until then..

BTW, any websites host the 84MB movie pack? I am just getting started with MXM and it would look 10,000 times better with movies for games!

Does your firewall do Network Address Translation, because I'm behind a router so perhaps thats why it is different for me. I have had this problem before and the server opening port 20 solved it...

Thanks MoneyShotz for the ftp server, even if its only temporary, Will give some people that one chance to get that movie they need.

Anyhow Im upping all the movies I got, I like to have audio on my clips so they all have cool music or audio to them, and some are more on the trailer side than just In game play but theyre all pretty decent quality. I separated them to 2 movie packs with 15 movies each

I just uploaded a Harry Potter: COS preview and a Rocky (Bad sound ) preview.

If you are using the "Quick Connect" function in FlashFXP just click on the "Toggles" tab and deselect "Use Passive Mode" when entering the FTP info.

OR

If you have set his site up in site manager, highlight the site, click on the options tab, then deselect the "use passive mode" option.

Monneyshots, This is really a great thing you're doiing, i already found a bunch of movies using usenet, but this is really gonna complete the missing ones!

I saw a lot of other users have uploaded their movies using rar files (but perhaps you can extract them on your server) so we don't have to download the entire rar files, but only the missing wmv's

this way there is a lot fewer bandwith used so others can download them as well...

If you freed them up more than 30 mins ago it is a problem on my end because i still cant connect... wierd as hell as i can connect fine to others. I guess there must be a conflict between our two firewalls or something.. never mind

Ok, i'm downloading the other 3 packs from this guy (it's for the greater good). I then plan on uploading the packs, already extracted, to my host, in seperate dirs, so ppl can download single videos as needed..

Ok, I got a few packs up there now.. I would have more if the bitch ass FTP wouldn't keep fucking stopping all the time.. I have then manually upload the remaining files of that dir (I do each dir at a time), using a web interface..

Thanks moneyshotz, thug and everyone whos uploaded movies. Especially the creator of the halo movie.. i couldnt find a decent trailer anywhere and had to result to ripping frames out of an existing one but your one is much better.

ANyways It was actually a DDR song File I had Lying aroud called FarawarTimes.mp3, Since the clip didnt have any sound I just used it as backgroud .

It shouldn't be to hard. Anybody with with a composite Video-IN (Or svideo-in) on their computer should be able to capture a couple quick clips of Evox and XBMP in action.

There has to be some video editing freaks on this board.
