Is there a way to remove the blood and gibs and such from Halo 1? My friends parents don't want him to play unless we can find a way to make it less bloody.
Thanks in advance

Nope. Switch to gears of war! You can turn off the blood in that game.

My school didn't want us to hold tournaments with Halo because it had blood, and I was wondering the same thing...however that was a while ago...

Dude, blood gulch is no more bloody than other levels, it's just a name.
Hang Em' High doesn't sound bloody, but it can be!

so you can't play a game, but your parent can sign off on going to a museum and seeing nude portraits and statues. thats ok, cause it's art, not violence that would cause all the gamers to go psycho and kill each other with the weapons they didn't know they had with them.
i HATE the public school system it's ridiculous sometimes.

I'm not sure if this would work, but perhaps with the HCE you could change one of the skins/scenery to something like dirt particles. Once again, I'm not sure if theres a setting in HCE to do this. I'll post again once i've found out
i just checked, and there's no blood object in HCE. perhaps a beta tester for HCE will see this post and suggest it for v8... *wink *wink
EDIT: Besides, Halo has NO gore in it. I mean, Unreal Tournament has more, and that was allowed years ago. EVEN DOOM 2 has more blood than halo for crying out loud! The only time halo really has blood is when u stand by a dead elite and melee it till the xbox crashes from object overload
