I've picked up a Gamecube today to replace an old faulty one i had, and was thinking perhap it was time to make use of the seven or eight games i've got backed up.

So simply, is this method going to enable me to play my backups, or will i need to just go all the way and get it chipped? Have read in this thread that the chips are cheap enough, and that it'd be cheaper than buying all the parts in the previous link, so is it JUST a case of a modchip? Anything else need doing after that?

My backups are currently on regular DVDs as isos, but will be burnt to the miniature DVDRs smile.gif

Thanks in advance!

Since you already own the Broadband Adapter, might as well softmod.
Here is a review of the DuoQ though in case you were interested in that.

I wouldnt bother with the softmod just spend the money and go with a qoob pro its a great chip. Also keep that bba to rip your games.
