Hello,

Just unpacked new 360 last and hit the Open tray button on dash to load a dvd... Now the tray will not stay closed, no matter what I do.

I've searched and found no one with a similar problem. Its not that it isn't reading backups (not flashed yet) it won't read anything.

The drive will shut with the button or dashboard, but stays closed for only a second, then opens right back up. It doesn't matter if a disk is in it or not.


Any one know what this is ? Rare error ? Fixable ?

maybe the eject button is stuck?

Don't think so, its pretty responsive.

I can change directions on the tray out or tray in movement.

I'll go look at that though.

Time to return to walmart. Too bad, I heard the Samsung drives were good.
