i load it up and it brings up all the text and stuff. then it sez a bunch of stuff cant be found and it was gona kill the initialization....

right now im using X-DSL and i seem to like XUbuntu better, but i cant seem to make it work..

this is how i "installed it onto my xbox":
i extracted all from the iso and FTPd it to my E: Apps folder.
is there more i need to do? plz dont consider me as a noob even tho i am this is just bugging me

I use Xdsl so this may be totally wrong for Xbuntu, but... you have to install from a CD first and then you can boot from the apps menu. I'm pretty sure there are installation guides on how to install, but if you can't find them, use loopback install

well my xbox can't read CD's (iso cds) it just says open tray after my xbox loads it... how would i install from CD?

btw, if loopback doesnt require a cD, how do i do it?

the only guides i can find are xbox-linux guides, and they dont explain it very well.... sad.gif

maybe add a dummy file and Burn to DVD

lol i dont know how to do that sorry....i want someone who already did it, and who for sure KNOWS how...

btw that dummy thing, since my xbox of course can read DVDs (and play em thanks to xbmc), i could do that. how would i make the .iso a dummy or w/e?
