Same engine ETC so why didnt they just throw in doom2 as well?

I LOVE DOOM. One of my favorite games of all time. I honestly felt the 800 points was totally fair for doom. It's a long haul single player campaign... the multiplayer could of used a freshening though....
Cant wait for DOOM2 and maybe FINAL DOOM. I'll pay up!
