Hi somebody can please rescue me??

I have a v1.1 Xbox and I try to mod it with a Matrix modchip. I flashed it with "evoxD6ejectfix.bin" and "x2_4974_multiver_256k.bin" but the facts were the same.
When a put it on the motherboard in mode 1 it flashes green then red as expected. But when I shut down, put to mode 2 3 or 4 and shut on: the Matrix Led turn green but the Xbox tries to boot 3 times (tiny noise and a green logo for 1s and the nothing, three times) and then the Xbox light flashes red and green. Moreover The DVD wont open when I press eject.
When I turn the Matrix to mode 1 the system just acts normally as there was no modship.

Thank for quick response I dont really know what is wrong ... uhh.gif

well, i had the same problem and it's probably because your chip isn't alligned correctly. Clean the pogo pins with some alcool and try to put the matrix in your xbox. when you get the green light on allignement, just press on the chip with force, and fix it. Normaly. it wont move...

Do you mean a "red" light on alignement for v1.1 xbox?
Do I have to expect a green matrix light when i boot with the modship in mode 2 ?

Thanx

Shruikn,
I too am having this problem sad.gif
I have a V1.1 Xbox as well. The light on my Matrix Mod chip for about half a second
blinks green then completely blinks red on mode 1.

When I switch to mode 2 it doesn't even boot the Xbox. Blank screen. With the same tiny
noise and green logo for the 1s and nothing. Along with the DVD not working on this mode.

In mode 3 it boots fine with red blinking lights.

And mode 4 doesn't boot with red and green blinking.

From what I've read in all the specs and tutorials V1.1 Xbox is suppose to blink green for the first 1s then blinking red the rest of the way.

I tried using EvolutionX 1.8.3752 with the Evox D.6 BIOS. If you have any questions you like to ask me you can email me at trithegreat@hotmail.com. Maybe we can collaborate on your common problems.

The V1.1 Xbox motherboards that we have has the solder points hallowed out so our Matrix modchip can't easily shift. V1.0 has those holes filled with solder creating a problem of shifting for the modchip.

Thx for your time

To solve your problem, you have a couple of options.

1) Fill in the LPC holes on the motherboard with solder and re-align the Matrix.

2) Solder a small wire to the alternate d0 site (on the underside of the motherboard) and take the other end and solder it to the TOP of the d0 pogo pin on the Matrix. You shouldn't have to fill in the LPC holes on the motherboard since you aren't going to be "aligning" the Matrix anyway. The d0 will be permanently connected and you won't have the shifting problem. Make sure you put a small piece of electrical tape on the original d0 site so there is no contact between the d0 pogo pin of the Matrix and the motherboard.

I guarantee this will fix your problem.

Thx for your help!!

You were right this was a alignement pb.
Filling the LPC points was not efficient so I decided so solder them to the pogo pins of the matrix.

Just a point: this 3 times booting pb is due to the LPC points because it remains the same when I solder the D0 point

Now it works well so im happy laugh.gif
