Can't figure out why this isn't working. My brother is getting "shared wireless" connection though a USB wireless adaptor. His internet is working fine. He's got a yellow crossover cable, and hooked it from the PC to the Xbox. Then bridged the connections. That should be it, yet he can't get a connection, he's getting a DHCP error. He's running XP. Can anyone help him out, I just can't see why it isn't working.

its pretty tricky business, i was trying to do this with a 360 and even when i got it working it wasnt worth it
if you are trying to get on live, it truly isnt worth it.

it's just not worth it, the amount of work that you'd have to do.. i'd recommend either buying a wireless adapter for your 360 or wireing it manually.
