Somehow im a major retard and deleted what looked like modding stuff on my xbox. My xbox was able to at least boot games for a few days, but then stopped. Every time i put in a disc, an error screen comes up. I coldboot and nothing changes. I was just wandering if anybody could help me out on where to go here. I would kind of like to save my xbox... lol

I would be fine if I could ftp in the current situation, but like I said earlier, the game (splinter cell) that has the exploit has no way of booting...

softmod = hotswap or get a modchip

modchip = use Slayers etc.

I have a softmod... So the only way to get this thing working again is to hotswap?

But I think these days it's too easy for n00bs to mod xboxes and they dont know what they are getting into so they dont bother backing up the eeprom.
"non-solderless" is a chip that must be soldered.
Duox2's are cheap as D.C. whores these days.

Just be careful on the hotswap. A good tip is to ground the Xbox to the PC so you don't get a static discharge and fry the HD.

Alright Im ready to hotswap, except I don't have all the backup files. I realize slayers 2.7 has a feature that can change the xbox back to stock... I realize I have to put it on a disc and I can do all that, but where can I get slayers 2.7 and how do I get it?
