Hi, i have an asian xbox 360 with a samsung drive. I practically memorized the dvd-writer models in the samsung compatibility thread. However, believe it or not, i couldn't find any of the models tested for sale in any of the stores in my area and i cannot order online because of various reasons.

BUT, i found the Sony DRU-830A, can any body confirm it's a good writer for burning xbox360 games?

under the hood, the 830A is a samsung SH-S182. I believe you will find more info on this.
