PIONEER 111D. . .IDE or SATA. . .I am buying an external USB enclusure and was just wondering which to get. . .also what exactly the difference is. . .thanks. . .

I would recommend SATA as a general rule HOWEVER, SATA still has so many chipset compatibility and configuration issues in general that it is hard for me to recommend it. SATA generally has a speed advantage but IDE definitely has the edge in compatibility/plug and play technology. So, I have to also go with IDE.
