I just got my xbox up and working with the latest version of avalaunch. Everything is going good, I am figuring out how to edit the files to get the os to do what I want, but there is one thing I cant figure out. There is a quick startup screen when you launch it of some anime chick. I dont entirely mind it, but my girlfriend will most likely have a problem with it. I have looked around in the avalaunch config xml file and in the avalaunch settings menu, but I cant find any way to disable it, nor can I seem to locate the file itself on the xbox. Could someone please shed some light as to how I either get rid of this, or change it? Thanks.

if you are seeing the anime chick then you dont have the newest one

go and update it and the anime chick will be gone

it also happens, at leat in my case, in my avalaunch.xbe file staying in the root of C. I have avalaunch default dashboard so i had to rename it to evoxdash.xbe, but i left the old avalaunch.xbe in there i guess by accident. So i delete the old .xbe and that girl with "merry christmas" is gone.

and i bet that would help no one, but there might be someone....

you can also get rid of that anime chick by making your own splash screen called "bootimage.png" (make it 640x480 in size) and store it in same folder as your avalaunch.xbe file is located and it will go away wink.gif

just thought i would mention this as no one else did.
