I see that Xbox backup creator is able to also burn the 360 game for you. . .so why might I ask are some reasons for wanting (or needing) to use the other programs to burn your 360 games??

Each person has a different method for success with 360 backups. What works for one person doesn't always work for everyone else. I have personally found the image burn method to be the most reliable.

He's right....Ever since I got my Samsung Sh-d162c, I've exclusively used XBC and I haven't made a single coaster on XB-1 and my XB-360 backups. Whatever works is what you should be using.

Thank you Jester and as always I welcome your input on all things XBOX. . .I have been browsing the Hitachi compatibility thread since I had put up this topic and am not finding anyone that burns using backup creator as the tool. . .I question as too why. . .what I am wondering is WHY?? Especially if it is right there in the same program that you backed it up with??

Try it , you will see.
I used it a few times and it worked great.
Somehow I like imgburn, and use it for almost everything except audio ( and also want to support the guy for all the good work he did going back to DVDdecrypter).
