I've decided to get a DLP rear projection tv, and narrowed it down to two that I like.

Samsung 42" DLP HDTV Model: HL-S4266W
Toshiba TheaterWide 50" DLP HDTV Model: 50HM66

Hopefully one of you more expert people could give me an idea of which might be the better deal, or if you own one of these models, could tell me how you like it.

Might I suggest going with this one? http://secondact.biz/product/HLS5087WRB It's not as cheap, and it is refurbished. But its a factory refurb, I've been pleased with other factory refurbs I've bought in the past.

Plus, you can get a 3 year "In Home" warrantee.

I also plan on getting a DLP with my tax return, I will definatly be getting it from this sight. An A+ seller rating from Tiger Direct. Can't go wrong with that. PLUS ITS 1080P!!!

Good luck.... I don't know about you but I cant wait!!!

I'm kinda limited to what Best Buy has to offer. My plan is to pay off the laptop I bought this year on my Best Buy credit card, then turn around and put the tv on it. I have a $1500 limit, but don't really want to go to far above $1000.

And no, I'm not going to get the extended warranty. They always find a way out of honoring it.

62", 1080P, HDMI AND an Ethernet, for under 1800 and free shipping. I was thinking selling my 32" LCD and getting this one, but its not LCD and I really don't NEED but boy do I WANT it.
