Hi i was just wondering if dvdinfo is required to burn the games or if it was is just a wast of time

DVD info Pro is not required to burn games BUT it is helpful to tell you which media manufacturer produces a given disc that you are burning and can also verify that a burned disc has had the booktype set to DVD-ROM. Read the first link in my sig for more info about who really makes media.
