I just upgraded firmware for the 111d to the latest official version and now Xbox Backup Creator greys out the write button so you can't write, I'm not sure if it's normal but it says Booktype: Unknown, it says that under the drives details.

It has a message to "ensure that booktype is set correctly on media/drive"

Is this due to the new firmware or have I configured something incorrectly?

I was hoping I wouldn't have to rely on this anyway and if I can just burn my image with nero or something, the image I want to burn passes all the checks and was dumped successfully.

when you got that message what type of media (brand and type +r, -R , DL) you had in your burner,
was the burner selected in the scroll down window?
