I'm trying to get Kai working from Avalaunch. When I try connecting to an engine, it simply says no engine responds - I'm wondering if it's simply an obsolete feature or if there's any way to reconfigure it so it works (I snooped around the avalaunch.xml, but I didn't find anything related to Kai, at least that I saw).

i've never tried with ava but with XBMC you need to enter the engine ip somewhere .. which is the ip of the computer running kai .. in the kai config you need to set it to accept UI connections from anywhere .. try the XBMC kai .. :]
