First off i use xbootmaker 0.6 and the latest 360sam also i have the rosewill212 sata+ultra ata raidcontroller....i created custom mtkflast for it with boot maker.

1.Powered on pc with 360(sata unplugged)
2.reached dos prompt plugged in sata cable and typed samread xxxxxxx yyyyy
3.turned off 360 pressed 3.which is the 360 drive(im sure)
4.waited 10sec detected drive
4. stalled at reading....00%


help would be greatly appreciated maybe $10 paypal reward for problem solver

umm
if u turned off the 360 when u selected the drive how do u expect it to be able to read/flash the drive if the power to the drive is turned off ???
ive never done a 28 before but im pretty sure it still needs power to be flashed ??

Well, for one I think power whould be supplied to your drive during the read. For two, is this a stock drive, or has it been previously flashed?

I think he meant to say he selected the port, waited 10 or so seconds, then powered the drive back on. It should then start reading the tsop. This is the bad flash method. Whether it has been flashed or not doesnt matter with this method, it should dump whatever firmware is on there.

Did is say XTREME as the name of the device? It should, since you used Xtreme boot maker and it renames the device.
