Yeah the demo is out, 1.24 gigs. Not bad Kind of like it, like a mix between GTA, Saints row, and something else, i just can't put my finger on it.

I've got to say... I was very impressed with Crackdown. That was the most fun I've had with a game of that type since Mercenaries. At this point I'll be buying Crackdown with or without a Halo 3 Beta invite attached. In fact, screw the Halo 3 beta... Halo's multiplayer is overrated anyway.

i really like the bounding/jumping/lifting/throwing powerups. i also like the way they actually fell too, not gimmicky.

I rlly liked it. I'm kinda amazed by how much of the stuff you can actually interact with. You can even land on/hang from the window ledges. pretty cool stuff... just wish i was old enough to buy it

The super human abilities are going to spoil us.
Playing GTA4 with a regular character is going to seem dull and boring compared to this.

By no means am I suggesting that Crackdown is better than the GTA series.
I'm just saying.... You know what I'm sayin....

game keeps locking up on me.

basically i lose video and the xbox is locked.

if i reboot, the xbox barely boots, video is scrambled, audio is garbled.

screw this crap if this game kills my 360 im gunna be peaved,

all it is is a pumped up GTA yeahh another GTA mixed with Saints row.. with a mix of pseudo cell shading graphics.
been here done this 100 times already but they didnt thrash the xbox in the process.
i have to power down the xbox power on power down and power on and its ok.
this is scarey, i really dont need my 360 killed over yet another gta clone

I thought it was a blast trying to get to the top of the tallest building i could see, had a lot of fun, wish it didnt end though. guess im going to have to get it

gta meets spiderman

the aiming system is not a far cry from saints row, which I immensly enjoyed. I prefer the free look style aiming rather than the glitchy inconsistent lock on style. everytime I am in a gun fight in gta I am scrambling to press the lockon button enough times to guide it over to the guy I need to kill.

I love this game
Finally multiplayer in a game like gta that allows both player to free roam. Definitely fun in every way for me. I love poping the back tires of cars and then using them to drift

From what I have played, this game is not another GTA clone like Saints Row
It's a lot more fun than ST and it's not as glitchy either.

Awesome game

You can tell the developers wanted to add alot of things into it to make it feel different than GTA. The targeting system has a nice touch with being able to choose what part of the body to shoot and to continuosly shoot the body in the air after its dead. Also the upgradable agency cars.

Is it possible in the demos to change your firearms at the supply stations?

i like getting the super fast roadster at the beginning of the game and doing 300 mph on the sidewalks!

lol i like the fact that when u run into other cars they go off you like a jump always good for a laugh watching a car just go flying as you hit it

get your strength all the way up so you can lift 10tons grab a semi, run, jump and throw that bitch at unsuspecting pedestrians. I have had tons of fun playing the demo, i really want more. Ive gotten 60 agility power ups and just went looking for the tallest building to climb. I am definately buying this, its sad that they wanted to use halo3 to promote it, i think it couldve done fine on its own

hulk clone my @$$, how could u say stop comparing it to GTA and Saints Row: IT'S THE SAME TYPE OF GAME!!!! Besides, like alot of people that have commented on it, who love it, give different reasons. And like some one else said, the demo is a blast and you want more. You feel the need to find all of those orbs, it's a cool concept i think, i think it's a better conecpt than finding those other thigns in GTA like the pearls and what not.

Anyone get the orb on the ferris wheel, I just got it took me like 10 mins, but i got it. Also in the middle of the ferris wheel you can get a hidden orb as well.

i got 120 agliy orbs it was insane and they reckon it will be better in the full game hell i could play this demo all day if it didnt have a time limit

and to top it off it has online co op even better me and a mate where playing system link aswell throwing cars at each other you just dont get this kinda fun in GTA

imo GTA4 will have to do somthing special to top this game

i got it, it's a mix of gta, saint's row and superman returns.

Also, in the real game it's not that easy to level up. When you start a game, on the top it says Demo Mode: Accelerated Progression Skill (or something to that effect). It will take longer in the game to start getting bettery skills.

I also wish could could run around, and kil oterh people on live tho. that wouls be sick. That would be the only advantage that gta would have if they decided to do that.

I really liked the demo, this game has exceeded my expectation.

WOWZERS! This has gotta be the best 360 game to date, along with GoW and Vegas! The demo is like the Incredible Hulk version of Grand Theft Auto! How can you NOT like it? I've been getting Agility, Strength, Driving, Explosives, AND Firearms Increases and I must say, once you're the best of the best, the top of the line, the number 1 player, you'll be maxed and kicking lots of gangster ass!
