can someone with the HD-DVD drive please tell me...

do i need the 360HDD so this to work?

as i was reading about a software installation disc.

can this just install to mem card?

Just tried it for you - works fine without a HDD. The s/w disc just updates the dash which is held in Flash ram anyway not on the HDD ...
