having read a few forum threads and probs people are having with xbmp, lip sync probs files not working etc.
i have only just found this out myself. if you have only downloaded cvs releases of xbmp, your files will work but with probs though.
You MUST get hold of 2.3 complex this includes the neccessary dlls for files.
then place your cvs release files over the top. if it ask you to overwrite- do it.
what i would suggest is to keep a backup of all the cut files ,and your default xbe if there on your xbox at the moment (you dont want to lose your hard work) as if it has been renamed it could cause probs.
So to recap -
get a complex release- transfer to xbox,
get current cvs release- transfer to xbox( overwritting where neccesary),
then transfer your cut files and xbe file(if neccesary overwritting or in the case of the default xbe deleting then transfer)
if done right youll be up to date, and have your own config file, cut file and xbe. and hopefully all should be cool.. i hope this helps
