Microcenter has the best deal
24.99 for a 20 pack

verbatim

http://microcenter.com/single_product_resu...duct_id=0236597

but for just $1.02 more (after shipping) you can order from netsoftmedia.com and not have to worry about if you're going to get an MIS batch or not.

Interesting. If they are indeed legit that wouldn't be bad. I will need to do some research on them though.

Strange as here in the US, the MII are fading out and the MIS are becoming more common. Guess we know where they went. blink.gif Anyways the 2.4x D/L Verb 20 packs are $25 shipped at newegg right now:

I got a few coasters out of Verbatim (they were burned too slow I guess), and I wrote to the company about this. To my surprise, they sent me 4 new DL discs (MIS I believed, because they work perfectly).

I'm also curious with peoples experiences with newegg. Are they MIS?

The ones I ordered from the Newegg have been MIS so far.

So I went to Bestbuy yesterday to pick up some. When I had got there it looked like they were out. Because someone had put a couple 15 packs on top of the 20 packs. I thought that was funny, but what was even funnier was the fact that the 15 pack was $32.99 and the 20 pack was $29.99. tongue.gif

All were MIS btw

bought the 20pack of Verbatim from Future Shop in Nova Scotia for $22.99. They are MII and so far I've successfully burned 4 out of 4 with no errors and no problems using Clone CD 5.3.13. I've read about people having problems with Verbatim made in India but so far so good for this batch.

yeah, as long as they are the made in singapore ones you should be fine, my first pack was a 8x set with hard cases which even said it would support up to 10x speed on compatible burners, which i had at the time, but i used them to burn images at 2.4x and they all worked flawlessly, my most recent pack was a 20 pack that only said 4x i think, like the ones people are linking to at newegg, good ones if they are made in singapore
jesterrace777
Honestly there really is no reason to go with 2.4x burns on Verbatim. I've always burned at 4x or higher and never had an issue (as have many others on this site).
ssj4android
Any good place online to surely get made in Singapore discs? Or any sales in B&M stores?
I see Best Buy has a 20 pack for $30, but the one by me is sold out and I'm not sure if today is the last day of the sale..
gotloveforall
All this talk about MIS and MII... where can I find this info on the package?
Finding if it is made in Singapore or India is easy enough so...
Just picked up a 15pack of 8x Singapore, so now I want to figure this MIS and MII out.
Help please. uhh.gif

A question for my first post is fitting, no? laugh.gif

Futureshop just had them on sale, 15 for $19.99. I grabbed 2 packs but now wish I had grabbed a few more. They usually go on sale about once every month to month in a half. If you NEED discs now, just grab a small amount, or single to get you by until a decent deal comes up.
