XboxMediaCenter SVN rev7767 build of February 01st 2007 compiled by T3CH

This is a complete snapshot of what is in SVN at the time the build was compiled, with just a few small additions:

- Option 1. Team XBMC's shortcut tool.
It's included in the _tools folder as <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.xbe>> + <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.cfg>>.

Rename the <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.xbe>>+.cfg & also EDIT the .cfg so it matches your config.

- Option 2. Thanks to an app called 'Team UIX's Xbe Shortcut Maker v1.0' by JbOnE, it's now easy...
Transfer contents of XBMC folder (this is VERY important since the tool is hardcoded) TO "E:\APPS\XBMC\". Rename <<SHORTCUT by TEAM UIX.xbe>> to something your bios can boot (see http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index....=As_a_Dashboard or read your BIOS README) and transfer to location your mod solution boots. No need to fiddle with HOME tag anymore, and future upgrades you need not to worry about this file (unless you move XBMC).

* WIN32 PC ENVIRONMENT INSTRUCTIONS (WIN32 FOLDER)
Good to know, this requires DirectX9 Runtimes to be installed. Also this doesn't work with all graphics cards.
You need to:
- Copy XBMC_PC.exe & 'run_me_first.bat' from win32 to XBMC folder
- Run 'run_me_first.bat'
- Run XBMC_PC.exe

* UPGRADE TIPS
If you're updating from a VERY old/bad build you may get issues. Follow these simple rules:
- Replace (FTP OVERWRITE) all files in your XBMC folder with fresh ones from your new build
- Delete old settings (from UserData/guisettings.xml)
- In some rare cases some of the database files in UserData/Database/*.db may need manual deletion (usually if they are very old). Note: This loses all per file settings you made with the old build!

The xbe has been retail patched and was built using v5849 of the XDK.

Very nice!!! Just noticed it and downloaded off T3CH's site after feeling it was probably about that time a new update would be coming out. And came here to notice they just posted this news about it. Couple fix's i was waiting for. Nice timing. Great job XBMC Team!!!!

Is there any way to have the stack video option unique for the different sources under my videos?
Example TV shows = not stacked
Movies = stacked

Rather than having to turn it on and off for each folder depends on the view you want.

Working fine here on hdtv.
Just a question.... would it be possible to record from tuxbox.
That would be a great option as my dreambox don't has a harddisk.
And a option to switch from satelites?

I can't see any info on the new mplayer thread here (last is from 01.17.07)

I have an XBMC request. Could the folder photo previews be updated? You know, when you have a bunch of pics in a folder, xbmc shows a preview of 4 pics in the folder's icon. Well the icon XBMC creates is very low res, and it would be nice if it were of a higher res because it would work better in the new xtv skin list mode.

The movie info refresh button bug is still around in this build?
Can someone please tell me how to refresh a movie info from imdb?

Thank you. I know about setting content and scanning the entire folder. But how do you fix just one or two movies that were scanned with wrong info. Usually refresh button would do it but refresh no longer available in this build or couple builds back so please let me know how to do it. THank you

Ever since upgrading to 2.0.1 (I think 2.0 as well) I've lost some text. I was hoping that upgrading to this build would remedy this issue, but it hasn't. I went back and got the default.xbe from an October 3rd T3CH build and copied that over and my text is back.

Here are a couple screenshots to illustrate what I mean:

How do I fix this?

Also, another minor issue that I'm not sure what I should do about it. I hate how the Clearity skin (which I love) shows an annoying now playing window for music when the screensaver is on. It's ruining my soothing Drempels!

Barnolde, I'd say if you have the latest patched MC360 and it appears that way then you might have to wait for the LONG anticipated MC360 1.0
I know many aren't even using MC360 these days because they are just waiting for the 1.0

anoobie, I can scan individual Movies just fine.

Now that the new Jaded scraper is out I can finally scan XXX Movie info (thumbs) just like the ole' iMDB.
Anyone know of a TV Shows scraper being worked on?

EDIT: Barnolde, if you hate the 'Now Playing' info that appears after 30 seconds of inactivity, then go to the 'Skin Options' and disable it. Also make sure you are using the latest SVN, or @least update frquently.

You do realize that your not actually loosing text your gaining buttons with no text! but the simple solution is don't just replace the xbe you need he language folder and the system folder as well if you only want to do minimal things

is anybody else having problems playing ISO using dvdplayer. all i get is stuttering playback but if i use mplayer i have no problems? this has only happend since upgrading to the latest t3ch build

Swedish language fixed in SVN, had a faulty switch in my batchscript for converting lineendings after translation with xbmc's Translator.

the installer thing is kind of blamable on me .. the new 2.x version that is under development has a online update feature.. thoughts where to not include 1.5 in the current release, but to wait until I ported it into 1.6 .. but have had my hands full with other stuff.

Please bear with me, a new release is in the near future..

Another thing I've just noticed. That when I change the region for weather to UK in settings, it still displays the date the american way on the weather screen and not the UK way.

Thanks for that. It would still be kinda nice that one didn't have to do that. You kinda expect the change to happen after you've played with the settings and not have to click refresh on the weather page.

since upgrading,
every time i go into my programs xbmc rescans the them in!!

as no one else has repoeted this i must have done something wroung?

any ideas on how to fix this?

Why is it that scrolling up is noticably slower than scrolling down in the Video Library? It only seems to happen on Big Icon and Big List views. The rest seem to scroll the same up and down.

Upgraded with a fresh install from 2.0.1 to this build but as soon as I actuallly reach the DVD menu itself it kicks me back to XBMC no matter what player I chose... any clues?

well, few weeks old snapshot did not work with vista share but with xp shares.

so i guess something has to change at xbmc. but maybe someone already had since i ve read reports saying that THIS specific release does fix that xbmc<.>vista issue.
