In my bedroom. 37" LCD HD-TV (Viewsonic) 5.1 surround sound when I feel the need, and pants are optional!
xboxSlayer
In my living room. I have a 52" RCA HD rear projection TV. Also have a RCA home theatre surround sound. The wife and kids love it.

It actually a Westinghouse LVM-37w1 and it is crap. I'm going to get a Samsung

It is actually the Westinghouse LVM-37w3 1080p LCD, and it is a pretty good LCD. Just take a stroll over to avsforum and search that model and you will see a fairly large (145 page) thread on it. Once calibrated it should produce a fairly good image. Of course if your not playing games at 1080i/p you will have "HDTV lag".

only big things, i play in my living room or in my room conected to my pc or tv

2 Xbox (with 250gb and Xecuter3)
2 Xbox360
2 PC's, 1 (is media center)
cerealkillajme
Living room I have a 26 inch Widescreen Samsung HDTV (720p and 1080i). No surround sound. My crystal 1.4 stays downstairs and both PC's. Also have a 27 inch Emerson SDTV down there too.

Bedroom I have a Dell (which I'm quite happy with BTW) DLP projector (720p and 1080i), screens about 100 inches or so, 7.1 surround (probably not true 7.1 as it's for a PC setup, but rigged to take red and white audio jacks, sounds good nuff for me), and my x360 and crystal 1.6 stay up there.

Like the guy in the condo, I live in an apartment and can barely use my surround sound at all, so not too worried about how good it sounds, lol.

And I live by myself BTW and pay all my own bills tongue.gif
Admiral_Ackbar6
Arcade FTW. In tiny Japan apartments, no loud sounds are allowed, and if you rent, as I do, no room to buy and add a nice tv.

Reclining Sofa
Modded Xbox, Xbox 360, DVD, VCR, analog CableTV (too poor for the good stuff), and Pioneer Elite 200 Disc CD changer (that has not been used in 3 years)

A 30 something inch TV and an Xbox in my bedroom. Yeah, pretty basic set up..
FrostyTheSnowman
Hmm.... well, my main setup is a 52" 1080i Projection TV, Sony 5.1 DTS/DD Surround System, and I currently have my Clear XBOX, my XBOX 360, my PlayStation 2 Slim, and my Nintendo Wii hooked up to them with a 4-way Component switchbox. This setup resides in my living room, and only gets played usually when friends come over.

However, both me and my wife have our own personal XBOXes though, and they get the most attention out of any of my game systems. My personal XBOX sits right next to my PC with a custom VGA cable going to a 19" Acer LCD, and my wife has her personal XBOX in our bedroom on a normal 27" TV. happy.gif

If you are interested, you can find pictures of my XBOXes in the link in my signature.

I hope that's not a Westinghouse, because if it is, it's crap.

the only reason why people hate Westy's is because they're so much cheaper than name brands - they may not be quite as good as say a Sharp or something, but for the price level, they are absolutely un-beatable. The 37w3 (most likely what the 1080p westy owner has) is an awesome monitor. I've had the opportunity to extensively game on one, and I own the bigger 42" version of that display.

It's weird. In the 80s kids played games on the TV in the living room because in the 80s no kid had a TV in his room. In the 90s parents wanted kids to stop using up the TV so they bought the kid a TV and told him to have at it. Now, everyone wants HD so again kids go to the living room to game on the nicest TV available.

My setup is in my living room since I live alone.

My setup consist of:

53 HDTV Projection TV
xbox360 w/ media center server
PS3 60GB
PS2 v10
Xbox v1.3
(Finally) Wii

Pioneer 7.1 Surround Sound.
I am running Fiber Optic Digital audio cables.
Had to buy a switch box cuz I ran out of inputs.

Running Component Cables since I'll have to buy a new TV for HDMI (Stupid HD Ready Crap)
I also still have my 3DO, Dreamcast, PSX & Genesis with a few games.

Playing most oldschool stuff with the emulators for xbox. They work well & there is really no need to pull out the old systems that often. I also have a few Sega CD games laying around.

You Americans have too much money. I game on a cardboard box with headphones that I've modded into speakers, and my game controller is made of a raccoon and a squirrel taped together. I don't know how it works, but it does. Wirelessly even.

So is the goal: 1 new poll every month or every few weeks.... ? or every couple weeks?

This one has definitely been around a while.

How about a poll asking if you downloaded the new XBMC Hello Kitty theme... LOL! (I'm afraid to ask though, because then X-S might leave that poll up there for an incredibly long time too... it'd be funny for a few days....)
ferrari_rulz_02
yeah, its about time we had a new poll....but this one is interesting

61" Samsung 1080p (only through vga, damn commies)
Yamaha 7.1 surround
Custom lighting via remote control
Tron Arcade machine converted to MAME Cabinet with Custom Controls
Comfy la-z-boy recliner
Xbox 360 TS-H943 w/ HD-DVD add-on
Xbox 1.6 w/Xecuter 2.6ce and 200Gb HDD
PS3 no mods yet except wink.gif
Wii w/ controller LED mods, Serial cable adapter
HTPC: AMD 64x2 3800 1Gb Corsair XMS Pro 1.5Tb capacity w/ Vista x32 Ultimate in a Silverstone HTPC Case
Christmas tree (too damn lazy to take down since christmas)

In the bedroom I have:
42" Samsung 720p
Xbox 360 Hitachi-LG (don't know which one, I have yet to mod it)
Xbox 1.5 w/ Xecuter (I don't remember which chip, I haven't been inside of it in a while) 320Gb HDD
Sony 5.1 Surround
King size Tempur-Pedic Bed (for when I actually sleep)

In the Office I have:
