ok ive had this xbox 4 like 1 year and havent been able to fix it ive been working off-and-on on it and know seems to be able to help me.ive modded like 4 xboxes that were my friends but cant find a way to get this 1 to work.
ok heres the deal
b4 i got into softmodding a set a setting in the m$ dash to automatically sign on to xbox live with it.
well i softmodded and being unexperieced i thought, hell y back-up itll only take up space....so i didnt?
i wanted to play xboxlive 1 day and recklessly went to the sofmod dashbord and "restored m$ dash"WITH ANY BACK-UPS AT ALL!
so everytime i would turn on my xbox it would come up with a little small window saying "connnecting to xbox live to update your xbox"but then i would say it failed!
i cant hot swapp cuz i dont know the HDD key or EEPROM, ive tried SlaYer's,it wont boot up disk, i cant even play games!
so i have a 40GB hard drive that i took out of my old computer and formated it blank with my new one computer(its a option when you right-click on the drive in "my computer")to see if it would then boot slayer's but all i get is error 5.do i need to format it some how to fatx?
so is there anything i can do?
if it helps i have modded xboxs that i can acess(for possibility of hotswap?), and i have ons of blank dvds for burning iso's and that one blank hard drive.
