Hi,

I am new in HD TV and I am not ready for LCD or Plasma yet.

I want a 30 or 32 in. HDTV , something like the Sanyo HT30746 but apparently
this is not a great tv to own.

I need some inputs and suggestions for a set at around the same price (500-600$)

Sony's and Samsungs are good, if you can find 'em. Do retailers still sell any HD CRT's that aren't the super budget brands?

Our Sony 30" 1080i CRT works pretty well. It has an HDMI port and the picture is very good.
