Okay. . .So I originally was having problems trying to get my backed up games too play in my 360. . .I did a few tries on Gears of War and it just wouldn't do. . .BAM. . .turned out all I had too do was put a drop of windex on my Laser and POOF worked great. . .well not great because the gamez would freeze up but I did get Lost Planet-GOW-and Viva Pinata to work. So now I put my Pioneer 111D inside my computer and am using my Samsung externally and trying to burn Rainbow Six:Vegas!

So it dumps the game on to my computer just fine. . .burns the game with no problems. . .But WONT PLAY. . .six copies later and not a single working one.

WHAT NOW??

VERBATIM-same ones as my working copies. . .I havent changed a single way I have been doing it. . .nothing. . .that is why I am so baffled!!

for one you could check your burn against the image + layerbreak verif and Booktype verif:
look in the pinned: How To Quickly Verify A Burn: Layerbreak, Booktype, Compared to Image...

if all is OK it could be the image, or your X360 drive (does it still plays other backup fine?)

Yes it is playing my other backups just fine. . .all the same methods. . .same discs. . .same everything. Which is why I just ain't getting it. Now I am going to heed your advice and verify the image to see if it works. I figure that I can go buy a new game and give that a try too. Just a little disheartening ya know!!

By the way. . .all I did different was move my samsung drive to an external enclosure. . .but have had not errors or any probles AT ALL!! just wont play. . .I would like to just buy a new drive. . .any advice as to where??

you are talking about changing your x360 drive??
if other backup are playing fine, why change the drive.

have you tried these bup on another X360?? to confirm if they are the problem.
