I have done some reading and it sound like you can’t rip original Xbox games with XBC. If true, I have a original modded Xbox and can rip the continence of the game to my hard drive via ftp. Then make an ISO with Craxtion, use XBC to get the SS...ect, use SS merger to make a new ISO, then burn with CloneCD...? Right or can some one point me in a better direction?

Wrong,
put the xbox 1 game in press start, and it is done (ss included),
Start Imgburn , set layerbreak to 1913776 (not 1913760 like x360 games) and burn on DL. Done

yes in xbc
if you have a samsung (x360 or sh-d162c) that is all there is to it.
if you get errors during th read , select mapper as well.
