Guys i got benq 1680 and make coaster 2 dvd by it. I used to burn with lite-on 16p5s with no problem. I cek everything using the same setup i use for lite-on. and my xbox failed to read the disk with disk cleaan messege.

the setup are.
1.Booktype 1680 original for dvd+r dl are set to -rom
2.Using imgburn to backup. set the break layer manualy to 1913760
3.Burn the backup
4.test on hitachi xbox 360.

does anyone succeed to burn backup using newer burner? or just my benq not compatible with it.

How to verify a burn ,

could very well be the image, how have you done the backup?

-for ss.bin which software & drive
-for game.iso which software & drive
-how was it merged

Im using the wxriperr to backup. via pioner 109A!!!
then using the ss.merger 1.7 to cek ss.
using the benq 1680 to burn all setting cek to -dvd rom and break layer manualy using imgburn 2.1.

The same image i put on my hardisk works well when i burn using the lite-on. And why i try on my cousin xbox using the samsung drive, not played my burn (all already been firmware mod)?? even it works very well on my hitachi drive? burn speed at 4x.
