hi im using a sh-d162c and xbox backup creator to make a backup of quake4. however at 38% i get a disc read error?

xbc give me an option to retry the sector or fill with zeros, it wont read no matter what...

ive made a backup of dead rising and gears of war, so im not too sure why this is happening?

any ideas?

clean your disk real well, any scrathes

move to backup,

ive checked the disc and everything is fine.

dont understand why this is happening.


ill try stopping some of the comps services see what happens

if it is just that disc!!
if you have a samsung x360, you could try with it, or WXripper style .
Then extract separately ss, dmi, pfi and merge using ssmerger.

ok ive got an ms28 flashed with hacked fw. i used the 10 sec to flash so my sata is compatible. ive made 2 copies of 0800 one on imation and the other on verbatim.

i coneect the drive to my pc, load the 0800 leave it for 20 secs the boot my pc, the sata doesnt find the drive and i cant even boot into xp?!?!


any ideas?
