Do you have to have booktype set to dvd-rom for the backup to work becuase i have an LG GSA-H22N and it says it can READ dvd-Rom, is that what i need or does it need to be write dvd-rom. Aslo when i try to put it dvd-rom with DvdInfoPro it says my dvd drive isnt campatible and with imgburn im able but when i click change it just stays dvd+R Dl. Can someone help me.

you need a dvd+r dl burner. I'm not sure what you mean by dvd-rom, with the newest x firmware, the booktype doesn't matter.... you don't need bit setting applied

Once again though, which DVD-ROM drive does he have? @the original post. I believe you will need a firmware update for your burner before it will support that feature. Take a look at the firmware downloads available at http://www.rpc1.org and see which one fits your needs.
