Hello all just ordered a sh-D162C and was wandering whats the better program to use for ripping the games advantages/disadvantages of Schtrom Xtract and Xbox Backup Creator also do both programs add stealth to the games? Thanks

xbox backup creator is alot more user-friendly and has more features like also burning your backup. i would go with that, but Schtrom360Xtract is a very good program too; both will do what you want the same way: one button backup with stealth and all the other goodies without any of the old "sending commands, etc..."...

W/O a doubt it's goat be the 'XBOX Backup Creator' FTW!!
XBC has the ability to rip the SS.BIN as well as the DMI and PFI Sectors off your XBOX™ and XBOX360™ Games.
So Stealth shouldn't be much of an Issue, if your already using Stealth Firmware as well.

I have a Hitachi in my XBOX360™, so AFAIK I can not currently use it to make working Rips.
Unless I want to scupper my XBOX360™ + Hitachi Drive in the attempt at the 'WX' Disc Swap Method,
(e.g. Way to much work), just to make a working Backup, and the SH-S162C was just to cheap to pass up on ~€19.99(EUR)~ at my local Whitebox Shop.

Just some small things to watch out for, when setting up XBC for the first time.
One make sure to set both your SH-D162C w/Kreon as your reading Drive and your Burner as the Writing Drive, or you might get a Burn Error otherwise.

Second under the Tab -> Drive Tools you have a Button to Unlock the Drive.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THIS, I tryed hitting it and then tryed to reading the Dick out, and ended up w/a Coaster!!

All you have to do is just inseet your Game into the SH-D162C and hit the Start Button, and that's it!
The Program will unlock the Drive automatically as it needs to.

The only other thing I've found (in XBC), to ensure good Rips and Burns is to set the XBOX / XBOX360 Switches from Auto to either or depending on what your trying to backup, as I've also had problems w/Coasters when these 'Switches' were just left in there 'Auto' state...

So 'XBOX Backup Creator' is the way to go to rip . Now is it just as safe to burn the backup with 'XBOX Backup Creator' or is it safer to use Imgburn thanks

yes it is (but XBCr is not compatible to all burner, but close so just try it).
Imgburn is probably the best X360 burning soft.
Honestly the difference is not that great, getting good media (verbatim) will probably make much more of a difference.
