I looked it up on google saying the guys from xbox-linux worked on a windows 2000 on xbox. But when i looked. I didn't find anything. Mind helping me out here?

No, they didn't.

It's possible to try running Windows 2000 under QEMU or another emulator/virtualiser on Linux. It's unlikely to work well due to the shortage of memory.

I finally have time to look at getting Windows to work on the Xbox.

I understand the legal implications but from a theoretical point of view is there any reason why Insignia's SoftPC Code (and/or real Microsoft NT based NTVDM/MVDM or even Bochs/BAMBIOS source would not work - to create a Default.XBE Simulacrum BIOS which NTLDR would boot from ???

This would take the same approach which was used to get Mac's to boot Windows.

We could even go as far as creating a simulacrum BIOS then running a EFI application on top (giving a full UEFI environment) which would bring up Windows.

Tell me what you think - my email address is now colesexmyer@gmail.com

I have the money and time and capability to do this with your help.

I will even go as far as setting up a sourceforge project.
