Okay long story short, I run my 360 on my normal setup with the optical digital output for audio. I went to a friends house for the weekend where they only have RCA inputs and such. So I used the component video connectors as usual and just took the red/white RCA's from the composite end (you know the "other" end of the video dongle) and the audio didnt work. So i went in the dashboard and switched it to Digital Stereo and it still doesnt work. Am I retarded or did I miss something? Any advice would be great thanks!

Update, I'm running a projector and using a tv for audio (no stereos) so we set the tv to input that had just the audio plugin and used the porjector for video. Now, when we plug the video & the audio in the tv it works but as soon as I unplug the video to put it in the projector the audio stops.... wtfbbq
