LMAO! That's sweet. LOL! But you need to clean it up a lil bit, sand it down, bondo it and add some Candy on there. (Paint) Nice idea man.

Yeah, definitely clean up the cuts, and fill the gaps. I think it'll look pretty pimpin.

I'd say get rid of the xbox bezel and put a normal flat bezel on there. Give it a nice smooth flush look. Could even wire up the rec level knob as a fan speed controller.

shotguns at close range do not make a good substitute for a dremel.. neither do teeth.

You know what unnownwanderer057, by lookin at this again, Im really motivated to try any kind of case. Like putting the Xbox inside of anything. Thanks for inspiring me. Just make sure you clean that up, and paint it.

Thanks everybody for the compliments. yea i really need to bondo and redo the dvd drive, and put a different dvd bezel.
As for painting i really want to, but just the top cover. it will be too hard to redo the letters and the writing on the front panel.
If anyone has any ideas fell free to shoot them over this way
thanks

Looks like you have two nice little windows where the tapes used to go, i'd slap in some sound reactice cold cathodes, that'd look good.
Or you could turn them into glowing green eyes, GRRRRRRRRR.

Great concept, but it needs some cleaning on your cuts.. Bondo is cheap and your best friend.. Id make my own DVD bezel out of a PC optical drive or a dead DVD player drive..
As far as painting, yes it needs a paint job.. Id do either a satin black or a semi gloss black personally.. ANd you CAN redo lettering on it.. You just need some vinyl lettering.. I've seen it in sizes as small as 2 pt. font (As your PC would print it)..
I think it would be cool if it would still play tapes, lol.. But thats just me!
Is it possible to use any of those buttons to control your box? Like the stock power buttons to turn it on, etc?

Thanks again for the comments and ideas.
first off the dimensions for the case is 15.5 in long 9.75 in wide and 4.25 in high (without the feet
)
the motherboard actually almost fit in there perfectly. i just had to trim a little at the door hinge things to make it fit.
As far as the buttons go the only ones that work are the rewind (which is for power), fast forward( dvd eject) and two of the switches. i had to cut up the boards to fit the dvd drive in.
Also i like the idea of the cold cathodes. i think i will cause it sounds easier then leds.

unnownwanderer057 i think its great dude.
i like the slightly busted look, imo i would go all the way and put loads of bondo on it and crack it out put dents in it .Give it a totally trashed pranged look or use bondo and fill it to look like its carved out of stone ,spray it up like granite
go on smash the bastard up
