i was playing the first level and got to the end with the giant goblin thing.
i wasn't paying attention and died pretty quick, thinking it wouldn't matter as id start off at the boss again.
but i started right at the beginning, which pissed me off.
is there a save feature i didn't see? arnt there any 'checkpoints'?
or is it a case of 'complete the level in one go'?

Yes you have to beat the entire level in one shot or start from the beginning of the level if you die.

I found it pretty annoying at first, but you get used to it. It's really only a pain when you playing the last board and get to the last boss and almost beat him... then you die and start in the beginning.

I just beat it with Aspharr and Dwingvatt last night, only 3 more characters left to beat it with
