I was just curious as to whether anyone knows if there are plans on word editing integration into xbmc. i'm soo tired of whenever i want to make a quick change having to open notepad then scroll around forever and for some reason half of the time, it freezes! Or possibly someone knows a way to integrate it into xbmc manually, or knows of something better than notepad to edit xml files and such with? i just want to be able to click on a word file and have it open, not go through all my scripts,scroll through several windows, click on the file, edit it, and than it usually stops running correctly before i get the chance to save or anything.

Its a good idea. I know UX has one (Basic text exitor) but it would be great to have it in XBMC.

It would save probs like when i take it to friends and need to edit a ini file. And when my comp breaks or something.

Good idea except for the obvious: You shouldn't have to ever edit anything to have XBMC run.

Only advanced settings needs editting.
