I have a softmodded xbox. I came down stairs today and it was on. I tried to turn it off on the front panel, but it wouldn't. I tried to turn it off in EVOX... it turned off, but then it turned itself back on. I then unplugged it and plugged it back in. It turned on as soon as I plugged it in.I have had this thing softmodded for about two years now. I haven't loaded anything new on it for about 2 weeks ( so i don't think it is anything to do with software). I did try replacing the power panel on the front, as well as putting a new power unit in it, but it still does the same thing. Any clues?

Thanks

LOL. I found that right before you posted. Turns out that I had some corrosion on the bottom of my motherboard. Cleaned it with some rubbing alcohol, and it works fine again. Thanks for the reply gamer.

Make sure the back up cap (Aerogel) is not leaking or the corrosion will be back
