So I tried to soft mod my xbox using the Splinter Cell exploit.
I ran into a problem where at the "install softmod" step I got an "unrar failed error".
I read somewhere that to fix this change the 16:9 to 4:3.
Well in the process I deleted the linux files game save etc.
So now I have no MSDASH.
Games still boot up but I want to get everything back so I can try again.
I read somewhere that an xbox live disk will reinstall the msdash.
Is this true?
If not what is the easiest way to get it back so I can try to use the exploit again?
Then what is the real way to fix the unrar error message?
