Here is my first theme. It is not finished but I figured I would go ahead and show it off and get some suggestions. The Brown is really repetitive so I am not sure if I like that or not. I would like to say that I did not create the backgrounds. They were made by geeksunny on these forums. If you would like me to remove them let me know and I will create new ones.

Also I will just update the file on my server instead of providing a new link so just check for me to update and then download the file again.

One thing though make the images a bit smaller as the xpr is 11mb and might cause the skin to slow up a bit

What is a good size for background images? Mine are 800x600. Would something like 640x480 be good?

Rad! I've loved TMNT since i was little (the oldschool version). I also think it could be added to live place, looks professional, though maybe you couild add a couple other little things first, like customizing the blackbolt ball and make it look like a turtle shell or something like that

Scaled images down to bring XPR size down



That little line under the logo kept showing up over the text so i put the text on top of the turtle shell

leglez, what font for xbmc are you using in those latest screenshots?

In XBMC I am using default but 1080i resolution

In the logo it is Times New Roman

When he is finished I might consider it. First of all he has to make the Blades match the right sizes. He can't just use all the same size for every blade, thats lazy. Also the logo needs to be using the same font as the Batman Returns logo, so it matchs the TMNT logo too. Then I will allow it for download!

@Leglez, I meant the font for all of your Media/Pictures/Video selection buttons, and your RSS feeds.

Could someone please explain the blade sizes to me? I have looked around but can't find any information on them. So I am not really sure what sizes each of them need to be. I have images Blade-Size1, Blade-Size2, Blade-Size3, and Blade-Size4, but am not really sure on the differences. I am pretty sure Blade-Size 4 is the image that goes on the selected blade. But not sure about the others

Was there a batman returns theme that shows the font? Or are you suggesting searching for a Batman Returns logo and finding out what font it uses and then using that for the logo?

And I guess I am still not understanding what you are wanting to know about the font. I haven't changed any settings for the skin itself. It should be the default font. It is in the 1080i resolution running off my PC if that matters.

Also is this better? I found the TMNT font but it only had it for alphabetical letters and no numerical ones.

Just go to http://blackbolt.x-scene.com/index.php?p=s...c&cat=mc360 and follow the instruction on how to get the Team Blackbolt Public SVN.

Open the media folder within the skin and checkout the original blade sizes. Notice how the diagnal line below indicates each blade tab in a higher y position the the previous. Also the width of each blade actually is slightly different too.

Also, the right side blades arent just straight flipped blades, they have to be aligned again, use the original blade textures as a guide line.

...I'm still waiting for someone to make a theme with swords as blades (eh, pun). I think I may have to do that when I have some time on my manos.

Perhaps you should think of adding a turtle shell to open try area.

since there are four blades and there are four turtles, it might be neat to incorporate one of their bandanas or weapons or something for each separate blade, if it could be done cleanly

Sorry I pretty much gave up on this for now. I launched 4 web sites in the past week so I have been really busy with them. Whenever school is out I might start on this skin again.
