hi
i just bought an XBOX that came with evox(i just bought it because it had media centre)
anyways i've noticed a few things

when i turn on the xbox sometimes evox doesnt load up,
also if theres a network cable plugged in , then EVOX doesnt load up.

I dont know what size HD is in it, does anyone know a way?
I have managed to FTP into it to copy movie files.
I dont know how to backup a game to hard drive.
Is there any way to make it so that media centre loads up when i turn it on?

The xbox came with no manuals watsoever, i bought it off a friend who'll probably give them to me later.

Open the case and look, check in Evox, check in your FTP client.

Install and use DVD2Xbox. Installation entails just copying it anywhere your dashboard will see it. Try E:\Apps or F:\Apps.

Yes. But that depends on your mod. How is it modded?

Chip? Then it's easy: Go to the XBMC forum and read the pinned guide about making XBMC your default dash.

Softmod? Still easy (but don't pooch it): Go to the XBMC forum and... well, just see above.

(I got good money says it's a softmod, and what's more, I'll double that that says it's modded with SID ).
