Did 2 attempts to burn a game, using a NEC 3500A flashed to latest version (otherwise it wouldnt start burning at all)

Burning on Platinum DVD+R DL max 8X
Burnspeed: 4.x Windows XP.
Burner: NEC 3500A.

Issue, after about 50% to 70%, errors like this:

My question is, is this caused by the fucked up Media or by the NEC? Need to buy some replacement for one.

Yes, also tried with CloneCD, same issue. Last attempt was made with Xbox Backup Creator, went fine till the error came.

And eh, why on earth does ImgBurn/Whatever tool is used, burns at 4.1X whatever I select? Even if i set it to 2.4X it still goes 4.1X?

this is idiot. use latest clonecd and load the .ccd file and burn at 2.4x
