I have a Installed the Xenium Gold on a 1.6 and I have already upgraded the drive to a 160 GB but now I am stuck. The only bios is the MS Dash from the TSOP. I have Slayers 2.7 which I burned to DVD and that is wher I'm at... How do I get the bios off this thing?

I know the xbox can read the disc as when the disc is in it will show the D drive however it does not show anything on the disc.

This thing is like a Catch 22. The BIOS is on the disc but I can't read it. what is happening.

BTW. The Slayers ISO was burned using Nero to a DVD. When I look at the disc in windows, it says it is zero bytes with zero bytes free no error though... The disc has been written to but it is just coming up blank

FTp the x2 5035.bin to your Xbox E: drive or on a disc that is padded. go to xenium website and read the ICEGUIDE

Also, your PC won't read the xbox iso, so it was probably done right.

So slayers will install a bios provided you already have a bios. Very odd. Now I guess I need to find a bios that will work on a 1.6 and find out where to download it.

Well, more accurately Slayer's et all will flash any bank with a bios on the disc. Most people have more than one bios bank thus having a quickie bootdisc flashing solution for a spare bank in the absence of a 4th gen chip is a logical thing.

As for your bios, get Xecuter 2.5035 (checked the bios features list on the Xbox-Scene.com page? It tells you why...). FTP it accross using the server on your chip and set it as default boot item in the Xenium menu.
