I have a mix mp3 album on my hard drive but between each track is a 1-2 second pause which is really crappy, is there anyway of getting rid of this pause between tracks without merging all of the tracks into a 1 track long mp3?

i know, i have the same problem. it started with xbmp 2.3 or something.. then the pause when you change song increased from like 0,5 sec (bareable) to like 3 sec (very bad). it's very annoying. i experience the same "gap" with relax, samba and xbmsp.. anyone know the root of the problem?

Anyone??

I believe it's something to do with it buffering the song before it starts to play...
