I was thinking, this cooler that i added to my 360:
It may flow more hot air to the GPU?

I noticed that it helps CPU but may GPU get the hot air from the CPU (yes, cooler is positioned over the CPU heatsink)
I see 2 things wrong with that, aside from the looks. Form follows function, so as long as it works and ya don't mind the looks, it's kool.
1. The hole you have isn't nearly big enough for that fan. You're not getting much extra air in there at all, and nowhere near what you would be able to with a fan that size.
2. The hole should be more in front of the CPU heatsink, not right on top of it. That way you get cool air into the front of the case and both heatsinks, instead of blowing that CPU hot air inside the case with it right on top of it.

It's about 50% out of the heatsink and 50% over the heatsink, is that good?
I make the hole bigger now
It's alright, just open the hole up more towards the front of the case, so more of it's in front of the heatsink than on top of it.

But then i'll have a big hole in the case
You already do, I mean cut the one that's already there so it fits the fan opening properly, and cut it more towards the front of the case, not an even amout around the existing hole.

I put a 60mm fan the same way this user did:
LinkI added a wall to guide air towards the GPU in the same way. You should be able to do the same (outside if you like) but you might have to block off a part of that hole you already made.
My 360 runs fine now (used to get ROD before), and I can feel that the fan area in the back for the GPU is much hotter than the CPU side.

biga55 Glad you posted that - I couldn't find it to save my life.

Forgot to mention in your thread that I loved what ya did with your box!

May i open a big f... hole, put a window there, and install the 70mm fan at the window
What you guys think?
